Business Studies Certificate
The will provide a student with the general information necessary to start building a business mindset. Students may want an introduction to the business world or may have pursued another career path and find the need for a basic business background. The Business Studies Certificate program provides an introductory set of skills needed to start in the business world.Â
The Business Studies Certificate program can be a starting point for furthering a student’s business knowledge. Courses will also apply to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree offered by Â鶹´«Ã½AV. This certificate program will provide a completion marker on the transcript for students who transfer or who choose to leave college.Â
The can be completed in 9-12 months on campus or online.
Program Requirements
The program requires students to take 12 core credits of business courses and 6 credits of business or accounting electives. Students completing the Business Certificate program may also be required to complete select Essential Studies coursework based on the elective credits selected.Â
Students are required to complete a minimum of 5 credit hours with Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
Please note, certificate program candidates are not eligible for state and federal financial aid.Â
