Ready to Graduate?
You are eligible to graduate from Â鶹´«Ã½AV upon completion of the courses listed in your program of study. The following steps are required to complete the graduation process:
- Meet with your advisor to check on the completion of your Program of Study.
- Any "Incomplete" grades must be resolved prior to the recording of your degree.
- Apply for graduation by completing the form in your Campus Connection student self-service portal. If you have questions, you may contact Academic Records at 701-788-4641 orÌýrecords@mayvillestate.edu. See the graduation application deadlines.
IMPORTANT: If you plan to graduate with an associate's degree and are planning to go on for another program of study or a four-year degree, you must reapply for admission to Â鶹´«Ã½AV. Please contact the Office of Academic Records at 701-788-4678 or .
Refer to the current Academic Catalog for graduation regulations. It is recommended that you formally apply for graduation two academic terms prior to the anticipated completion of your graduation requirements.
Application Procedure
After applying for graduation, an email will be sent to your Mayville State account notifying you of coursework and other requirements you need to complete prior to graduating. This information will also be supplied to your academic advisor.
If you have ever received a federal student loan at Â鶹´«Ã½AV, you are required by federal regulations to complete exit loan counseling before you graduate or terminate your enrollment. If you have received a Federal Stafford Loan, Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, or Federal Perkins Loan, this requirement must be completed online at .
Complete undergraduate exit exams. Contact the respective Division Chair for exam times. These exams are required and must be completed prior to graduation from Â鶹´«Ã½AV.

Congratulations on your achievements! Mayville State would like to help you celebrate at your graduation party. Use the files below to create your own cupcake pennants or take cake designs to your favorite bakery to have them printed on your quarter sheet cake. Be sure to use the Cake Usage Release form with you to the bakery (the usage release allows you to use only these designs).

Contact your bakery and ask how they would like to receive this file.Ìý Most can accept by e-mail or on a jump drive. Most bakeries can only print designs for quarter sheet cakes and will require the Cake Usage Release Form below.

Print and fill out the Cake Usage Release form to take with you to the bakery (the usage release allows you to use only these designs).
