ADMISSION TO BIOLOGY PROGRAM听
All admission criteria are monitored and enforced by听the discipline faculty. Admission to the Biology major听requires that the student:
- Complete and with a听minimum grade of 鈥淐鈥� in each course.

Have an institutional cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.

Have satisfactory communication skills as听demonstrated by successful completion of听 and or with a听minimum grade of 鈥淐鈥� in each course.

Have satisfactory mathematics skills as听demonstrated by successful completion of听 with a minimum grade of 鈥淐鈥�.

Complete an oral interview with the discipline听faculty.
Final approval of the discipline faculty is contingent听upon their professional judgment following consideration听of documentation and faculty assessment.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
For this degree, a minimum of 30 credit hours at the 300/400 level from Mayville State is required. In addition to general education requirements, the core major requirements, students will also complete a required minor.听Online minor options include:,听,听,,听, and more. Students will work听with their advisor to explore minor options to complement听their career goals.
Students with a previously earned bachelor's degree will only need to complete the program pre-requisite courses, core biology degree requirements, and specialization.
TRANSFER-FRIENDLY
麻豆传媒AV accepts transfer credit from regionally recognized accredited institutions of postsecondary education. All credit hours earned from the institutions that meet this criterion are accepted in transfer towards graduation degree credit hours.

AFFORDABLE
麻豆传媒AV's online tuition and fees for 2025-2026 will be $347.38 per credit, regardless of residency, with a cap at 12 credits enrolled. Books, materials, and lab kits are additional.听Please note, tuition is subject to change without notice. Financial aid is available in the form of grants and loans. To see if you are eligible for financial aid, you first need to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
