Admissions Requirements

Applicants are reviewed based on overall academic performance, including cumulative GPA, completed college credits, and, when necessary, high school transcripts.

Applicants With 24 or More Transferrable College Credits:

Shall be admitted to Mayville State if:

  • You are in good academic standing at your most recent college or university,
  • You have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher on all transferable college-level coursework

Transferable coursework includes college-level courses from institutions recognized by the US Department of Education, CHEA, or ACE. Review our for more information on how coursework transfers to Â鶹´«Ã½AV.

Applicants with fewer than 24 completed transferable college credits:

If you have fewer than 24 completed college-level credits we will review:

  • Your college transcripts, ad
  • A review of your high school transcript to determine overall academic preparation.
