M.Ed. Adult Teaching and Learning Track Plan of Study

(32 SH Credits)

The M.Ed. core will provide foundational study and application of concepts inÌýTopics and Trends in Education,ÌýOrganizational Leadership, Diversity and Societal Change,ÌýGrant Writing,ÌýLaw and Ethics,ÌýandÌýResearch Methods (General).ÌýÌý

The M.Ed. Adult Teaching and Learning track allows graduate students to develop knowledge in adult learning theories while designing and applying educational research specific to their area of expertise. Students also learn how to lead and collaborate within professional learning environments.Ìý Graduates of this track tend to seek leadership roles within their professional organizations. ÌýSome graduates lead professional development sessions while others plan to teach adult learners in a higher education setting. This track does not lead to additional teacher licensure.Ìý
