Purpose of the Course
To provide professional development training in scientifically-based, evidence-based, and research-based reading practices to meet state requirements of HB1388.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide the professional educator with training in scientifically-based, evidence-based, and research-based teaching practices to focus on Science-Based Theory, Direct Instruction (Systematic and Explicit), Phonological Awareness to include Phonemic Awareness and the Alphabetic Principle, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluence, and Comprehension. Educators may register through Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV to receive graduate credit.
