Tables du Jour features elaborately decorated theme tables, brunch and a silent auction. This annual event is a fund-raiser for music at Mayville State.

The annual graduation brunch is sponsored by the Â鶹´«Ã½AV alumni Association. The brunch is considered the first official alumni event for the new graduates
Â鶹´«Ã½AV Football Alumni Golf ScrambleÂ
The Mayville State football alumni and friends are invited to join in the fun at the Mayville Golf Club the first Friday in June of each year. Food, prizes and refreshments!
Â鶹´«Ã½AV Golf Classic
The Â鶹´«Ã½AV Golf Classic is held annually on the second weekend in June. Mayville State alumni and friends from all across the country make Detroit Lakes, Minn. their destination on this weekend, not only to golf, but also to enjoy connecting with friends and acquaintances while supporting Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
Â鶹´«Ã½AV Alumni Day & Â鶹´«Ã½AV Alumni Association Awards Dinner
The Â鶹´«Ã½AV Alumni Association hosts Alumni Day at Â鶹´«Ã½AV on the fourth Friday in June each year, in conjunction with Mayville-Portland's annual Summerfest. Activities throughout the day include an open house and tours of facilities, as well as the annual Alumni Association Awards Dinner and a musical variety show. All activities are open to the public.
Harvey McMullen Open Golf Tournament
The Comet Athletic Club Harvey McMullen Open Golf Tournament is held to raise funds for Mayville State's general athletic scholarship fund.
Lake Region Golf Scramble
The Lake Region Golf Scramble is held to raise funds awarded in the form of scholarships to students from the Devils Lake (N.D.) region who attend Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
Comets Baseball Around the Horn Golf Classic
The Comets Baseball Around the Horn Golf Classic is a fundraiser held to help provide support for the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Comets baseball program.
Comet Athletic Club Sportsmen's RaffleÂ
The Sportsmen's Raffle is held to raise funds for athletic scholarships at Â鶹´«Ã½AV. The main event is the raffle of guns in which ticket holders have a one-in-ten chance of winning.
Comet Athletic Club Farmers Bowl Athlete FeedÂ
The Comet Athletic Club holds this event annually on the Thursday before Farmers Bowl. The purpose is to treat Mayville State's student athletes to a meal and to given them and their parents an opportunity to meet the Comet boosters.
Farmers BowlÂ
The Farmers Bowl, sponsored annually by the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Foundation, teams Â鶹´«Ã½AV with the community in a festival celebrating the area's agricultural way of life. Activities include a parade, corn on the cob and hot dog feed, Mayville State Comets football game and a fund-raising auction.
Homecoming
The Mayville State Alumni Association's annual homecoming festivities include the Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame Luncheon, Comets football game and a variety of socials and other activities.
Scholarship Recipient Brunch
Scholarship recipients are the guests of honor at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Foundation Scholarship Recipient Brunch. Parents and scholarship benefactors are also invited to join in honoring the scholarship recipients.
Â鶹´«Ã½AV Foundation Honor Society President's Dinner
The Â鶹´«Ã½AV Foundation and the Â鶹´«Ã½AV president host this annual event to honor members of the Honor Society, donors who have given a minimum cumulative total of $10,000 or more to Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
Poinsettia BallÂ
The Poinsettia Ball will be held for the third time in 2014. The gala event, featuring the music of the fabulous Downtown Horns, provides a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.
Traill County/Â鶹´«Ã½AV Luncheon in Arizona
Current and former residents of Traill County, as well as Â鶹´«Ã½AV alumni and friends, gather each year in Mesa to renew acquaintances and make new friends. Activities include lunch and a message from a keynote speaker. The luncheon is held the second Tuesday in February.
Comet Athletic Club 3 on 3 Basketball TournamentsÂ
The Comet Athletic Club sponsors annual tournaments for elementary-, junior high- and high school-age girls and boys. The tournament is held as a fund-raiser for athletics at Mayville State.
