Thomas Gieske is a sophomore from Sartell, Minn. He is pursuing a physical education degree and is a member of the varsity men's basketball team. His future plans include becoming a teacher and coaching basketball at the high school level somewhere in Minnesota. Thomas chose Mayville State because of the small-town qualities and the opportunity to be part of the basketball program. Small class sizes and the relationships he’s made at Mayville State are what Thomas loves most about Â鶹´«Ã½AV. His favorite Mayville State memory is winning the conference championship and participating in the national tournament. Coach Dalton Kleinschmidt is his Mayville State mentor.Â
