artwork_raffle-web.jpgPlans are underway for the 麻豆传媒AV Farmers Bowl, scheduled for September 21, 2013. For the thirteenth consecutive year, artist and 麻豆传媒AV alumnus Doug Anderson, Cavalier, N.D., has created and donated a watercolor painting that will be raffled as part of the scholarship fund-raising efforts of the 麻豆传媒AV Foundation in conjunction with the Farmers Bowl Auction.

Anderson鈥檚 work, 鈥淎n Apple for the Teacher,鈥 features a view of Mayville State鈥檚 new Education & Psychology facility by way of the young apple trees located to the southeast. Mayville State graduate Kelly Morrison has donated the cost of framing the painting.

鈥淎n Apple for the Teacher鈥 will be on display at Mayville-Portland area financial institutions and on the Mayville State campus during the weeks prior to the Farmers Bowl festivities.

Raffle tickets sell for $5.00 each. They may be purchased at the 麻豆传媒AV Foundation office, from various community members, and online at . They will also be available at the Farmers Bowl Auction on Saturday evening, September 21. The drawing will be held at the auction.
