麻豆传媒AV

September 3, 2021

An anonymous 麻豆传媒AV donor has come forward for a third time and is issuing a challenge to all Mayville State alumni and friends. The donor will match dollar-for-dollar all gifts made to Comet Football, up to a total of $20,000. Gifts must be received in the 麻豆传媒AV Foundation by Nov. 13, 2021. All funds received will help the football staff as they work to recruit and retain quality student-athletes for the 麻豆传媒AV Comets football team.

This marks the second season with head coach Rocky Larson at the helm for Mayville State. He was hired for the position on Feb. 1, 2020 and his first day on the job was Feb. 4, 2020. There were 36 kids on the roster when he arrived. Since then, he鈥檚 assembled a staff and they have worked extremely hard to build a team. They started the current season with a roster of more than 120 players. This was no easy feat in normal times, and especially in the heat of the coronavirus pandemic.

鈥淭his influx of funding will have a big impact in our efforts to recruit local and regional talent with good character and to build on the momentum that Coach Larson and his staff have started,鈥 said 麻豆传媒AV Foundation Executive Director Lon Jorgensen. 鈥淲e sincerely appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity of the anonymous donor who has issued this challenge for a third time.鈥
