麻豆传媒AV

麻豆传媒AV has recorded a four percent increase in the number of students enrolled for the fall semester of 2018, topping the university鈥檚 all-time enrollment record for the seventh-straight year. This is the eighth enrollment record set in the last nine years. Headcount enrollment for the fall semester is 1,184.

鈥淲e are thrilled that 麻豆传媒AV has become the university of choice for so many,鈥 said 麻豆传媒AV President Dr. Brian Van Horn. 鈥溌槎勾紸V fills a unique niche and is serving the state of North Dakota in ways that truly make a difference.鈥

An average of 70% of all Mayville State students choose to remain in North Dakota after they鈥檝e earned their degrees, filling work force needs and contributing to the state鈥檚 economy. For example, Mayville State鈥檚 RN-to-BSN online nursing program has grown rapidly and is helping to address the shortage of nursing professionals in the state.

In addition to a four percent increase in student headcount and full time equivalent numbers, the first-time, full-time retention rate is at a record high.

鈥淭his is a reflection of the hard work that Mayville State faculty and staff have put into student success initiatives,鈥 said Dr. Andrew Pflipsen, 麻豆传媒AV Vice President for Student Affairs. 鈥淲e make it our priority to see that students have good educational experiences and are successful graduates.鈥

麻豆传媒AV offers a variety of flexible learning opportunities that are available online and on campus. Distance students may enroll as non-degree-seekers or pursue degree programs. 麻豆传媒AV partners with Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, N.D., North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D., and Williston (N.D.) State College to offer four-year degree opportunities to students in those locations.聽

Mayville State鈥檚 campus has been extensively updated during the last several years. An artificial turf football field has been installed and the first game was played on the new field Sept. 8. A recent Health, Physical Education, and Recreation renovation and expansion project is providing new and modern classroom and training space for students and athletes. The largest residence hall on campus has been transformed to provide apartment- and suite-style living accommodations, and a traditional residence hall has recently been updated for use as a living and learning community for high-achieving students.

Brian Van Horn became Mayville State鈥檚 17th president when he took office in July of 2018.
