Twenty-two 麻豆传媒AV Collegiate DECA student members participated in the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Austin, Texas from April 20-24, 2024. The annual conference provides the opportunity for students to compete against others from all over the world in business-specific events. 麻豆传媒AV students had to qualify for the Austin conference at the state competition held in Fargo, N.D. this past February.

The 麻豆传媒AV team was one of 25 chapters worldwide to receive the Chapter Leadership Passport Award. There are 180+ Collegiate DECA chapters in the world.

Twenty-three Mayville State students were recognized with the Individual Leadership Passport Award during the opening ceremony at the Hilton Austin Grand Ballroom. Only 165 of the 4,000+ Collegiate DECA students worldwide were recognized. Mayville State had more students recognized than any other college or university in the world.

The Collegiate DECA Leadership Passport Program encourages local chapters and individual members to plan activities and participate in events that enhance the experiences of members. The leadership passport rewards action taken by members and chapters that build personal and professional skill sets focused around helping members academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders.

Travel & Tourism: 3^rd Place - Connor Fields, Thompson, N.D.

Professional Sales: Top 10 - Sam Preston, Hillsboro, N.D.

Sports Marketing: Top 10 - Brennen Beaudin, Northwood, N.D.; and Gunnar Petersen, Mayville, N.D.

Financial Statement Analysis: Top 10 - Brennen Beaudin, Northwood, N.D.; Josh Dohlman, Shelly, Minn.; and Logan Maus, Thompson, N.D.

International Marketing: Finalists - Jamison Kramer, Watertown, S.D., and Lachlan Enright, Mayville, N.D.

Collegiate DECA鈥檚 overlying mission is to 鈥減repare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.鈥澛� 麻豆传媒AV Collegiate DECA is open to students in all majors. Students spend many hours fundraising, but also receive generous support from 麻豆传媒AV and Collegiate DECA alumni.
